Presentation: Ling Qing Meng, CEO, Decentral

The concept of a self sovereign identity system has existed since the late 1800s. The tried and true strategy for Wealthy individuals was to have multiple self-sovereign identities. The method for having supra-national identities was to compartmentalize. Their public facing identity was their national citizenship e.g. passport, their business  identities were split into bank accounts in each foreign countries their business expanded towards. Their financial identity was provided by privacy focused banks in Switzerland, Hong Kong or Panama. Now we live in the world where cybercrime is increasingly more prevalent, and more lucrative thanks to massive amounts of personal and user behavioral data hoarded by technology behemoths. As a fellow  citizen besides each of us, citizens of the decentralized State, it’s my mission to share what I’ve learned and provide a roadmap where everyone can secure their financial, political identities and work with reputable individuals that share the same vision.
